Turkish Airlines flight makes emergency landing in Malta

A Turkish Airlines aircraft travelling to the capital of Mali, Bamako from İstanbul was forced to land at Malta’s Luqa Airport after a pregnant passenger on the plane started giving birth.


As per the TVM channel broadcasting in Malta, after the 8-month pregnant passenger started giving birth, Turkish Airlines’ TK4931 coded plane landed in Malta around 6 pm. After the passenger was taken off the plane for medical assistance, the plane resumed its Bamako flight.
