SunExpress, a joint venture of Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, is adding the city of Porto, Portugal to its flight network for the 2025 winter season.
Direct flights from İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport to Porto will begin on November 5, 2025, and will be operated twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays.
With this new route, SunExpress aims to strengthen İzmir’s position among European destinations and contribute to Turkey’s tourism. It is expected that these direct flights will boost tourist and cultural ties between Porto, a city with rich historical and cultural heritage, and Turkey.
