Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Tourism announced that Gloria Guevara Manzo, former President and CEO of the World Tourism and Travel Council (WTTC), has been appointed as Chief Advisor to the country’s Tourism Minister HE Ahmed Al Khateeb.
Gloria Guevara has more than 25 years of experience in the public and private sectors in travel and tourism.
Guevara, who served as the Mexican Minister of Tourism between 2010-12, will contribute to the facilitation of international cooperation in the field of tourism, the development of human resources and the supervision of major projects, according to the Ministry’s statement.
Last week, it was announced that Guevara was leaving his position at the WTTC.
