United Kingdom added Switzerland, Czechia and Jamaica in the quarantine list. Those returning to UK from Switzerland, Czechia and Jamaica will need to quarantine themselves for two weeks.
The regulation will start on Saturday, August 29th at 04:00 local time.
The UK classifies countries with more than 20 cases (per 100,000 people) as high risk countries. In Switzerland 361 new cases have been detected in the last 24 hours while this number is 218 in the Czech Republic which has a 10.7 million population.
On the other hand Cuba, was added in the list of safe countries.
United Kingdom previously included Spain, France, the Netherlands and Austria in the quarantine list.
