The financing round was joined by a consortium of GetYourGuide\u2019s existing investors, including SoftBank Vision Fund, KKR, Battery Ventures, Highland Europe, Spark Capital, Lakestar, Heartcore Capital and NGP Capital, as well as the company\u2019s own founding team and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>\u201cAfter the pandemic, people will travel again, and experiencing the sights and culture of the world\u2019s iconic destinations will be what they crave the most,\u201d said Johannes Reck, CEO and co-founder of GetYourGuide. \u201cAs the global tourism industry prepares to rebuild, GetYourGuide\u2019s mission to give the whole world access to incredible experiences matters more than ever.
