According to the data, 1.814.701 foreign visitors came to Turkey in August, with a 71,23 % drop on last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>In August 2019, roughly 6,3 million tourists visited the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>In Jan-Aug 20 period, 7,25 million foreign visitors came to Turkey representing a 76,6% fall year on year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Among the 1,8 millions, Russian citizens with 24,23% have the biggest share, followed by <a href=\"https:\/\/turizmpress.com\/en\/tag\/united-kingdom\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">UK<\/a> (14,37%) and Ukraine (14,09%)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism has revealed the foreign visitor statistics for August.
