The increase was 10% compared to 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Airbnb&#8217;s latest results improved significantly, as the increase in vaccination and the easing of restrictions have increased demand for travel. The company received 83.1 million nightly bookings during this period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Airbnb still announced a loss of $ 68 million for the second quarter, an improvement of $507 million compared to Q2 2020 and $229 million compared to Q2 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Airbnb Co-Founder and CEO Brian Chesky said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>\u201cWe\u2019re proud of our strong results this quarter, which again surpassed 2019 revenue levels.
