Following Expedia&#8217;s sponsorship deal with Liverpool, Trivago also signed with Chelsea in May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The latest partnership news came from travel meta search engine, KAYAK and Newcastle United.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Travel search engine KAYAK has become the official shirt sleeve sponsor of Newcastle United for the 2021\/22 Premier League season. The KAYAK brand will be visible on the sleeves of all home, away and 3rd shirts that the team will wear next season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>KAYAK, a brand of Booking.com, signed a football sponsorship agreement for the first time in its history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Per Christiansen, VP EMEA Marketing said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;As we continue to grow our brand partnerships in the UK and internationally, we are thrilled to kick off our first football partnership with Newcastle United.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>&#8220;It&#8217;s an honour to be associated with the team and we look forward to expanding our presence amongst the players and their global fanbase as they enjoy the freedom of travel and live sport once again.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Dale Aitchison, Newcastle United&#8217;s Head of Commercial, added:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We are very excited to become KAYAK&#8217;s first football partnership and to begin our journey together.
