{"id":400,"date":"2020-09-16T18:31:11","date_gmt":"2020-09-16T15:31:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/turizmpress.com\/en\/?p=400"},"modified":"2020-09-16T18:31:16","modified_gmt":"2020-09-16T15:31:16","slug":"hilton-izmir-hotel-to-close-down","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/turizmpress.com\/en\/hotels\/hilton-izmir-hotel-to-close-down\/","title":{"rendered":"Hilton Izmir Hotel to close down"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hilton Izmir Hotel, which has been open since 1992 and is Izmir&#8217;s second five-star hotel, is closing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the local media in Turkey , Hilton Izmir management announced that the hotel will not be operated by the Hilton Chain as of October 16th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The statement made by the management said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>\u201cHilton Izmir will not be operated by Hilton as of October 16, 2020. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are proud of the exemplary hospitality Hilton Izmir has shown so far and we thank everyone who contributed to this process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>We will continue our activities in Izmir with our hotels serving in four different locations: DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Izmir Alsancak, Hilton Garden Inn Izmir Bayrakl\u0131, DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Izmir Airport and Hampton by Hilton Izmir Aliaga.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There was no explanation for the reason of the closure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Hilton Izmir, with its 142-meter building consisting of 33 floors, was the tallest building in Izmir back in 1992, the year it was completed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hilton Izmir Hotel, which has been open since 1992 and is Izmir&#8217;s second five-star hotel, is closing.
