If the financial support is not extended, layoffs are inevitable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">United Airlines flight operations manager Bryan Quigley stated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;In case the support package is not extended, we must prepare and plan for the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">United Airlines, announced $ 1.6 billion loss for the second quarter of 2020.
