Tripadvisor announced today that three hotel groups, with a combined portfolio of close to 500 properties, have agreed to connect directly to Tripadvisor Plus, the new subscription service.
Barceló Hotels, Millennium Hotels and Resorts and Pestana Hotel Group become the first hotel groups to connect their accommodation portfolios to Tripadvisor Plus.
Tripadvisor Plus members will get access to special room rates and guest perks, such as welcome gifts, dining and spa credits and late check-out, when booking at selected Barceló, Millennium Hotels and Pestana Hotels worldwide.
Barceló Hotel Group has more than 250 hotels, while Millennium operates more than 145 properties. Portuguese Pestana Hotel Group owns and manages 100 properties, across three continents.
Tripadvisor Plus was launched to travelers in the U.S. on 16 June.
