Amadeus: Travelers’ Appetite for Tech Soars in 2025

A new report by Amadeus, a global travel technology company, reveals that travelers’ desire for technology has reached a record high in 2025. According to the research, passengers are actively embracing artificial intelligence and digital solutions to simplify their journeys, reduce stress, and have a more secure travel experience.

64% of Travelers Want an AI Assistant

One of the most striking findings of the survey is that 64% of travelers want to have an AI-powered virtual assistant to help them during their trip. Moreover, 17% of them are willing to pay up to 5% of their total travel cost for this service.

Technology Integrates into Every Aspect of Travel

The Amadeus report indicates that the use of AI has increased by 64% compared to the previous year. Travelers primarily use AI to save time during the planning phase (42%), receive personalized recommendations (37%), and discover new destinations (36%).

Additionally, 69% of travelers stated they prefer biometric gates, and 66% favor remote baggage check-in services. These figures clearly demonstrate the potential of technology to make airport and hotel processes faster and more seamless.
