Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism has revealed the foreign visitor statistics for August. According to the data, 1.814.701 foreign visitors came to Turkey in August, with a 71,23 % drop on last year.
In August 2019, roughly 6,3 million tourists visited the country.
In Jan-Aug 20 period, 7,25 million foreign visitors came to Turkey representing a 76,6% fall year on year.
Among the 1,8 millions, Russian citizens with 24,23% have the biggest share, followed by UK (14,37%) and Ukraine (14,09%)
