Turkish Airlines to receive state subsidy from Slovenia

Turkish Airlines, which applied to the Sloevenian Goverment’s tender that aimed to increase flights to the country, was entitled to receive a state subsidy of 148,530 Euros at the first round.


According to the press release of the Slovenian Government, a total of 5 Million Euros of subsidy will be paid to airlines, with a maximum of 30 Euros per passenger in 3-round tender.


In the first round, 8 airlines that started flights to Slovenia until 30 September 2020 were entitled to this support:

These airlines pledged to operate regular flights for at least two months, twice a week, to one of the airports in Slovenia during the summer season between 28 March 2021 and 30 October 2021.
