Turkey-Iraq flights suspended until October

Iraq Civil Aviation Authority, announced that the resumption of the flights between Turkey and Iraq is postponed for another month.

The flights were planned to start in September as previously announced

In Iraq, daily covid-19 cases increased to over 3,500. As of Sunday, a total of 231,177 cases were detected in the country and 6,959 people died.

The World Health Organization (WHO) warned of a possible health crisis for Iraq on August 19, as the number of covid-19 cases was too many for the country’s fragile health system to cope with.
