Six Senses Spa Comes to Istanbul

Six Senses Spa Kocataş Mansions, Istanbul, which enjoys far-reaching views over the legendary Bosphorus, is welcoming guests to enjoy its extraordinary style, setting and services.

Elevated above the resort and blending into the natural greenery, Six Senses Spa Kocataş Mansions is located in a restored 100-year-old stone house. Using natural materials from the original setting, the 16,145 square-foot (1,500 square-meter) three-level spa has been constructed in an eco-friendly manner. It also incorporates artifacts from Ottoman palatial collections to pay homage to the city’s past.

Within this oasis away from the city, there are five treatment rooms, three hammams, two steam rooms, two saunas, an open-plan relaxation area and retail boutique, along with a Holistic Anti-Aging Center, Pilates studio, Alchemy Bar, and Nail Bar. A locally inspired, multi-layered mix of treatments are on offer including massages, facials, rituals, and hair, body, and beauty treatments. In addition, the spa has partnered with French skincare specialist Biologique Recherche to supply treatments and Subtle Energies for ayurvedic aromatherapy rituals.

One of the main highlights is the Turkish hammam experience. This one-of-a-kind experience is administered by local hammam experts, leaving spa guests feeling rejuvenated and invigorated. The interior design of the hammams is also unique as each offers a spacious lounge and a decorative glass panel design to let in a sprinkle of daylight and a peek of the Bosphorus, making it the perfect setting for bridal hammams or any other large gatherings.
