Formula 1 announced that the races planned to be held in Istanbul on June 11-13 are canceled.
According to F1’s statement, there will be no race that weekend, the French Grand Prix is being moved to June 18-20, a week earlier than scheduled, and a second race (Styrian Grand Prix) in Austria has been added to the calendar for 25-27 June.
With the changes made, the number of races in the 2021 season increased to 23.
After UK added Turkey to the red list, F1 teams, who are mostly based in the UK, they would possibly encounter quarantine on their return to the country.
