East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition ( EMITT ), which was planned to be held in Istanbul in February 2021 has been postponed to 2022.
The organizer of the exhibition said in a statement that the trade show will not be held in 2021 and postponed to 2022 with new dates to be announced later.
The management of EMITT said :
”In order for all our stakeholders, especially our exhibitors and visitors, to have a more efficient exhibition experience, our exhibition, which was planned to be held from 10 – 13 February 2021, has been postponed to 2022. The new date will be shared with you when it is finalized.
We are excited to actualize our business partnerships more comprehensively than ever and welcome you at 25th EMITT East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition, which we are planning on holding at TUYAP Fair and Congress Center in 2022.
We thank you for your endless support and wish you and your loved ones good health.”
EMITT is not the first tourism trade show to be postponed due to the covid-19 and related travel restrictions this year. Many international tourism exhibitions including ITB Berlin, ATM Dubai, WTM London are either postponed or going virtual amid the pandemic.
