TUI to open 5 hotels in Oman

TUI Group, one of the world’s leading tourism companies, has signed a long-term strategic partnership agreement with Oman’s tourism development arm, OMRAN Group. The alliance aims to position Oman as a premier sun-and-sea destination for European travelers, in line with the country’s “Oman Vision 2040” strategy.

Five New Resorts Planned in Dhofar As part of the agreement, five new hotels will be developed in the Dhofar region under TUI’s flagship brands. These properties are expected to open for guests in the winter season of 2028, expanding Oman’s appeal as a year-round tourism hotspot.

OMRAN Becomes Strategic Shareholder in TUI OMRAN Group will acquire a 1.4% stake in TUI Group, becoming a strategic shareholder. This shareholding is part of the joint venture deal, with a three-year lock-up period, and reflects OMRAN’s commitment to long-term collaboration.
