Saudi Arabia is planning to allow umrah visits gradually
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced on Tuesday that umrah visits for residents and citizens will be allowed in a limited capacity as of October 4.
In the first stage 6,000 locals will be allowed per day, which is 30% of the capacity, and this number will increase to 75%, ie 15,000 people per day, as of October 18.
For foreigners, it is planned to start as of November 1, depending on the course of the epidemic.
Saudi Arabia canceled all Umrah visits at the end of February in order to fight to spread of covid-19, and a limited number of local pilgrims were allowed for the Hajj
