Saudi Arabia has banned the entry to the country for the visitors from Ethiopia, the United Arab Emirates , Vietnam and Afghanistan.
The government has announced that travel to and from these 4 countries is restricted due to concerns about the Delta variant.
The new law also suspends the flights from/to Ethiopia, the United Arab Emirates , Vietnam and Afghanistan.
The ban will take effect from 11pm Sunday (July 4) and will apply to anyone who has been in these four countries in the past 14 days.
According to the Government’s statement, Saudi citizens returning to the country before 11 pm Sunday, will be exempted from quarantine measure.
