The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Mishutsin, signed a government decision on October 6, which allows citizens of 52 countries, including Turkey, to travel to Russia with a new unified electronic visa.
According to the new decision, with the new electronic visa, entering and staying in the whole of Russia will be possible as of February 2021.
Previously e-visa was only covering travels to St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad and Vladivostok regions.
Duration of stay in Russia for foreigners coming with the new e-visa is also extended to 16 days while it was only 8 for the old version.
New electronic visas can be obtained for tourist, business, humanitarian and guest purposes and no other supporting documents like hotel reservation are needed.
The fee for the visa will be $ 40.
