Radisson adds 7 new hotels in Italy

Radisson Hotel Group is proud to announce the signing of seven new hotels in tier 1 locations as part of the Group’s ambitious expansion plan and successful brand architecture footprint. Set to open in 2021, the new properties include two premium lifestyle Radisson Collection hotels in Milan and Venice, the debut of Radisson Hotel Group’s latest brand, Radisson Individuals with two properties in Piedmont and Sicily, two new Radisson hotels in Ferrara and Nola, as well as Radisson Blu’s latest hotel in Florence.

Stunning Radisson Collection hotels in Venice and Milan open their doors this summer, in time for the reopening of international travel as announced recently by the Italian government.

Radisson Collection Hotel, Palazzo Nani Venice and Radisson Collection Hotel, Palazzo Touring Club Milan are pleased to open their doors this summer and welcome guests to the exceptional. The two new properties will bring the total number of Radisson Collection properties in Italy to six. Radisson Collection is Radisson Hotel Group’s premium lifestyle brand with iconic properties located in unique locations, providing immediate immersion in the local culture. Both properties will offer guests the quintessential Radisson Collection experience with architectural excellence, extraordinary local character, and exceptional service.

Built in the 16th century, the elegant Radisson Collection Hotel, Palazzo Nani Venice is an iconic boutique hotel situated in a prestigious location close to the Ponte delle Guglie and overlooks the Cannaregio Canal. Following an extensive restoration, the luxurious Palazzo Nani will become the perfect embodiment of the Radisson Collection brand, blending impeccable design with the authenticity and vibrant atmosphere of this unique location. This Venetian jewel of Renaissance architecture will feature 52 rooms and three apartments, and spacious halls illuminated by natural light. The courtyard garden is a perfect venue to enjoy an exquisite breakfast or finish the day with a signature cocktail at the hotel’s Zoja Restaurant. Opening in September 2021.

Once the headquarters of the Touring Club Italiano founded in 1894, this historic building in Milan’s city center, has been extensively renovated and will be the home to the new Radisson Collection Hotel, Palazzo Touring Club Milan. Boasting 89 elegant rooms designed for the comfort of both business and leisure travelers, the hotel will offer exceptional services and amenities in a vibrant and cosmopolitan setting, including The Bertarelli Restaurant, named after the Touring Club’s founding member Luigi Vittorio Bertarelli, and the Club’s remarkable historic library. Radisson Collection Hotel, Palazzo Touring Club Milan is located within a 10-minute walk from the city’s world-famous Duomo, Teatro alla Scala, and the Quadrilatero della Moda fashion district. Radisson Individuals debuts in Italy

Radisson Hotel Group is delighted to announce Italy’s debut of the Group’s newest brand, Radisson Individuals, with the opening of two properties in Sicily and Piedmont , in partnership with the Mira Group. The hotels join Radisson Hotel Group’s global portfolio and booking platform, and will benefit from the Group’s international awareness and experience while offering their own unique identity to travelers. Borgo di Luce I Monasteri Golf Resort & Spa, a member of Radisson Individuals in the Sicilian countryside features an 18-hole course, large spa area with gym, outdoor pool with jacuzzi, and 102 rooms and suite. With 49 luxury suites in traditional “Walser” chalet style, Alagna Mountain Resort & Spa, a member of Radisson Individuals offers two restaurants, a spacious spa with sauna, Turkish bath, heated indoor and outdoor swimming pool, and a multimedia meeting room accommodating up to 80 guests.

Radisson welcomes two new hotels to historic Ferrara and Nola

Radisson, the Group’s upscale hotel brand that offers Scandinavian inspired hospitality, will be welcoming guests to two new properties later this year in Q3 2021. Following a full refurbishment, Radisson Hotel Ferrara will feature 80 rooms and five two-bedroom apartments, a lobby bar, restaurant, three meeting rooms, and a state-of-the-art gym. The hotel’s prestigious location is within the walled enclosure of historic Ferrara, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Emilia-Romana. Ferrara welcomes over 10 million visitors a year to its sites, including the Castello Este, Ferrara Cattedrale, Palazzo Schifanoia, and Palazzina Marfisa d’Este, home of the prominent Este family which ruled the town during the Renaissance. Radisson Hotel Ferrara will be the first internationally-branded hotel in the city-center of Ferrara, also home to the largest hot air balloon festival in Europe.

Radisson Hotel Naples Nola will be Radisson Hotel Group’s first new-build Radisson hotel to open in Italy following the opening of the Radisson Residences in Cortina d’Ampezzo in February 2021, and will include 75 double rooms, 70 standard rooms, and five suites in addition to a high-design restaurant adjacent to the hotel, three meeting rooms, and a fitness area. Nola is one of southern Italy’s most strategic economic destinations in the metropolitan area of Naples. It is home to the headquarters of prominent companies including CIS, Alstom, PPG, Alenia, and Leonardo Aerospace which attract numerous business and leisure travelers alike.
