Jet2 postpones summer season operations

Jet2, one of Britain’s major tour operators and airlines, announced that it has postponed its summer season flight and holiday operations until June 23.

As the reason for the decision, Jet2 cited the disappointment created by the framework prepared by the ‘Global Travel Task Force’ regarding the resumption of international travel.

”Because of the continued uncertainty that the framework provides, it is with a heavy heart that we have taken the decision to extend the suspension of flights and holidays up to and including 23rd June 2021. Where customers yet to travel are affected by any programme changes, we will automatically cancel their booking with a full refund, and our team of travel experts will be in touch to help them to book their summer getaway for later in the year.”

Last month Jet2.Co and Jet2holidays said it increased its capacity for Antalya , Bodrum and Dalaman with more than 100 additional flights from the end of June to the end of October .
