Ireland adds Turkey to hotel quarantine list

Ireland added Turkey and 15 other countries to mandatory hotel quarantine list.


Starting on April 15th; passengers coming from Turkey will need to stay in one of the quarantine hotels.


Irish Health Minister Stephen Donnelly announced on Friday that 16 new countries, including Turkey will be added to ‘high risk’ countries. Passengers coming from these countries will need to stay in the quarantine hotels designated by the government.

The new measure will come to live on Thursday, April 15 from 04:00 AM.


Bangladesh, Belgium, France, Italy, Kenya, Luxembourg, Pakistan, USA, Canada, Armenia, Bermuda, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Curacao, Maldives and Ukraine are also added to the list.


Passengers traveling to Ireland must pre-book a quarantine hotel through the site www.quarantinehotelsireland.ie. For a 12-night quarantine package, a double room price for 2 people is 2.500 Euros. The price includes arrival transfer, breakfast, lunch and dinner and 2 covid tests.
