EU adds 6 more countries to the safe travel list

Today six more countries have been added to the list of countries of which the citizens allowed for touristic travel to the European Union.


On Wednesday, the ambassadors of 27 EU countries approved to expand the list of safe countries from which non-essential travel restrictions to the EU will be lifted. The United States, North Macedonia, Serbia, Albania, Taiwan and Lebanon are included in the list now.


Other countries currently on the EU’s safe countries list are; Australia, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, Rwanda, South Korea, Singapore and Thailand.

Despite the high immunity and vaccination ratio in the country, UK was not included in the list.


The next update of the EU list is expected within 15 days.
