Airbus, one of the world’s two largest aircraft manufacturers together with Boeing, announced in a press release that it delivered 57 commercial aircraft to its customers in September.
Airbus delivered 49 aircraft in July and 39 in August, thus delivering a total of 145 orders in the third quarter of the year.
With 341 aircraft delivered throughout the year so far, Airbus experienced a contraction of approximately 40% compared to the same period of 2019 (571 aircraft deliveries).
In a recent statement Airbus says it received 300 net orders in the first nine months, while this number was 127 last year.
