Aeroflot has launched a wide incentive programme for those vaccinated against COVID-19.
The first 10,000 passengers – members of the carrier’s frequent flyer program Aeroflot Bonus, who will get vaccinated during the campaign and take a flight, will be eligible to receive 10,000 miles to their account.
Overall, 100,000,000 miles will be granted to the participants as part of “Miles for Vaccination” programme.
«A large-scale vaccination campaign is underway in Russia. Creating herd immunity is our common responsibility. Promoting vaccination is our contribution to facilitate a full-fledged recovery of air transportation and provide convenience and comfort to our passengers», said Mikhail Poluboyarinov, CEO of Aeroflot. «We’ve launched the programme as part of the federal initiative to encourage mass vaccination. We are committed to undertake further steps to protect our employees’ and passengers’ health, and, eventually, to stop the COVID-19 pandemic».
The “Miles for Vaccination” programme will run from 15 May 2021 through 31 December 2021, or till the amount of miles allocated under the programme has been used up.
Aeroflot Bonus programme members aged 18 or over (excluding PJSC Aeroflot staff) are eligible to participate in the “Miles for Vaccination” campaign.
According to the programme rules, the first stage of the vaccination must be taken after the start of the programme with full vaccination course completion being obligatory for the participants.
To participate in the campaign passenger must submit a Vaccination Certificate with QR-code from GosUslugi website (Public Services Portal of the Russian Federation) and a signed Consent to personal data processing. The documents must be submitted before the flight at Aeroflot’s sales office/representative office, or online via the feedback form on Aeroflot website. The participant’s membership number must be indicated when purchasing a ticket. Miles will be automatically accrued upon completion of the flight (detailed rules are available on the website).
Aeroflot has launched a dedicated vaccination incentive programme for staff including flight crew and cabin crew. Each employee who gets fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will be given an extra paid vacation day.
