Accor, the leading hospitality group, announces the opening of ibis Baku City, the first hotel of the company’s most popular economy brand in Azerbaijan.
“We are delighted to open our second hotel in the capital of Azerbaijan. This is a completely new product for Baku in terms of service and design. The hotel will not only be the first ibis in the country, but will also be the first in the region of Russia, Ukraine, Georgia and the CIS countries to present the new global design concept of the ibis brand – AGORA. ibis Baku City will be perfect for both leisure and business travellers. Comfortable rooms, excellent location in the city center, high standards of ibis brand service and ALLSAFE sanitary standards guarantee guests the most pleasant stay, and the price-quality ratio will certainly be its competitive advantage and will attract even more tourists to this beautiful city. Baku is a unique combination of a mild climate, delicious cuisine, history and traditions with ultra-modern architecture and high business potential. I am confident that as the borders open and the world returns to travel, Baku will attract more and more travelers,” said Alexis Delaroff, COO of Accor Russia, Ukraine, Georgia and the CIS region.
ibis Baku City offers guests 202 modern and comfortable rooms in Standard, Premium and Family categories, including 4 rooms specially equipped to accommodate guests with disabilities. Each room has ultra-comfortable Sweet Bed™, and everything guests need to work or relax after a busy day in the city: air conditioning, work desk, minibar, safe and bath amenities. Special attention has been paid to the tranquility and comfort of guests at night, with a soundproof system and blackout curtains.
Design of rooms and public areas is based on the global design concept of the ibis brand, AGORA, developed by Innocad. The rooms have a functional, modern interior and the public areas reflect the local culture and charm in decorative details, such as cushion ornaments, brickwork in the reception area and other decorative elements.
Urbanfood74 restaurant serves guests and locals on the ground floor of the hotel; the restaurant adheres to healthy eating habits, uses organic products and strives to reduce food waste. Urbanfood74 offers a daily ibis signature breakfast, as well as a varied menu of European and Azerbaijani dishes. Guests can unwind with a cup of coffee, have a business meeting or chat with friends at the stylish lobby bar. Alike all bars in ibis hotels, the bar at ibis Baku City is open 24/7 and offers hot and cold snacks, desserts and drinks. The hotel also has a GRAB & GO minimart area, accessible for guests and locals. A visit to the gym, where guests will find a range of fitness equipment and a free weights zone, will help to keep in fit or cheer up after a busy day.
Meetings and events facilities of ibis Baku City include three rooms with seating capacity from 56 to 135 guests, equipped with modern video and audio technology.
