Hilton announced the opening of Canopy by Hilton São Paulo Jardins in Brazil, marking the first Hilton lifestyle brand to launch in South America. True to Canopy by Hilton’s “thoughtfully local” ethos, the new hotel will embrace the robust culture of São Paulo, collaborating with local experts to curate authentic experiences for travelers and locals alike.
“As we continue expanding our portfolio in key destinations throughout Latin America, we are thrilled to introduce a new brand in Brazil,” said Jorge Giannattasio, senior vice president and head of operations, Caribbean and Latin America, Hilton. “Representing our newest addition to the largest city in the country, Canopy by Hilton São Paulo Jardins will provide an authentic experience for travelers visiting this thriving destination and vibrant neighborhood.”
Located 10 minutes from the Museum de Arte de São Paulo, the Ema Gordon Klabin Cultural Foundation and Oscar Freire Street, Canopy São Paulo Jardins is situated within steps from shopping, vibrant nightlife and cultural institutions. The 98-room hotel, owned and developed by Tati Construtora e Incorporadora, features two dining restaurants, a fitness center and two indoor/outdoor meeting spaces.
“São Paulo was a natural choice for launching Hilton’s first lifestyle property in South America given its position among the world’s most popular destinations, with numerous museums, rich architectural tradition and award-winning restaurants,” said Phil Cordell, global category head, Hilton lifestyle & global brand head, Canopy by Hilton. “As people begin to travel again, we look forward to welcoming guests to Canopy São Paulo Jardins, which was created as a natural extension of the neighborhood to help visitors relax, recharge and experience the city like a local.”
