Hitit, one of the top 3 airline and travel IT providers in the world, and Nella Airlines, a start-up company from Brazil, signed a new partnership agreement for overall IT solutions and digital transformation consisting of passenger service systems, operational planning, revenue, and cargo solutions. Hitit is pleased to be Nella’s final choice after a detailed and thorough tender process. Despite being Hitit’s fourth airline company in the Americas, Nella is the first Brazilian airline partner of Hitit whose brand, Crane, has been expanding throughout the continent.
Reservation, ticketing, online and mobile booking, departure control, allotment manager, loyalty, operation control, crew management, mobile application systems, revenue and cost accounting solutions will be deployed by Hitit’s team with a rapid implementation process, ready for the carriers June 2021 operation date. Hitit will enable Nella to make a smooth transition for the new realities in the aviation marketplace and comply with the industry’s changing needs in the post-covid period.
Nevra Onursal Karaagac, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Hitit, said: “We are very happy to partner with Nella Airlines as our first venture into Brazil, and we would like to extend a warm welcome to them as they take their place among our ever-growing Hitit family. The whole team is very excited to start working towards building Nella’s vision together and we look forward to supporting them through their launch and future growth with the latest capabilities in ancillaries, dynamic offers, and cost-effective omnichannel distribution that Crane PSS has to offer. Our industry has been going through unprecedented turmoil, and we are elated that partnerships such as these create admirable success stories for a brighter future.”
Adriano Pinhas, Chief Strategy & Revenue Officer at Nella, said: “Since 2015 I have been following closely Hitit’s great work in the aviation solutions market. After a very detailed RFP in which Hitit competed with some of the most respected players in the market, Hitit stood out as offering us not only a very complete PSS but also a set of suites that are fully integrated with each other. I am absolutely sure that our choice was the right one because we are a data-driven company that aims to offer the best distribution option to our passengers, employees, and partners. As an Airline CS&RO, the worst thing that can happen is we have to limit our strategy due to systemic limitations. The choice of Hitit aims to bring us this competitive advantage because we believe its solutions are accurate enough to support all our plans to serve the market with expertise.
