Today, ITS and Amadeus announce a global travel technology agreement that diversifies ITS’s distribution partnerships and lays a path for future growth. With Amadeus’ support, ITS, which works with some of the world’s most successful corporations representing over $130 million in annual travel spend, will be better positioned to deliver savings to its clients while providing advanced technology and service.
The new partnership, effective immediately, will help ITS leverage Amadeus’ open, cloud-based systems, and the companies will collaborate to market ITS’s Reaccom (re-accommodation) and Crew (hotel and logistical crew transport) solutions to airlines and airports.
Rick Kumpf, CEO and Owner, Internet Travel Solutions said, “For years we have been bringing programs, processes, technology, travel expertise and best practices to our managed travel programs. We’ve built unique relationships with airlines beyond a typical travel management company, which Amadeus understands well. With this partnership, we’ll be able to leverage Amadeus’ airline network, advanced NDC capabilities, leading hotel platform and broad technology portfolio to accelerate our growth in the region and across the globe.”
North America is a priority growth market for Amadeus, and this new agreement with ITS represents the latest in a string of successes in the region.
“With the Amadeus Travel Platform, we provide seamless access to the best travel content, along with a comprehensive product portfolio to help customers grow revenue, optimize costs and care for their clients with great service. Despite global economic uncertainty, Amadeus continues to take a long-term view, having further strengthened its capital position and continuing to invest in strategic initiatives such as NDC to support the success of its customers. We are pleased to partner with ITS and are confident our partnership will provide ITS the content and capabilities it needs to help power business growth,” said Rajiv Rajian, Executive Vice President, Global Business Travel and Travel Channels Americas, Amadeus.
