Hotel Chain Offers Bonus for Newborns

Arche, a Poland-based hotel and real estate group, has launched an unusual campaign to draw attention to the country’s declining birth rates. The group is offering both financial and social rewards to couples who become pregnant while staying at one of their hotels.

A Celebration Following the Birth

Arche’s initiative promises a free family celebration (such as a baptism ceremony) to couples who can prove they conceived their child during their stay at an Arche hotel. This is part of the company’s commitment to supporting families.

€2,345 in Birth Bonuses

Furthermore, couples who purchase a house from the Arche group and have a child after moving in are granted a birth bonus of approximately 10,000 Polish Zloty (around €2,345). The company also plans to introduce additional bonuses for its employees upon the birth of their children.

Sectoral Response to Demographic Crisis

The campaign is a direct response to a significant demographic challenge in Poland, where births in 2024 fell 157,000 short of deaths. The country’s population has dropped by 1 million since 2015, now standing at 37.4 million. Arche’s unique approach blends business incentives with a patriotic call to action to address the national crisis.
