Accor opens a fully sustainable hotel in Peru

To gain more presence in the Peruvian market with a flagship hotel for the region, Accor – the world leading hospitality group – announces the arrival of Pullman Lima Miraflores to one of the most important districts of the capital. Thus, the property representing the premium category seeks to become a meeting point in the city not only for travelers but also for those who want to work, meet and enjoy the moment.

“The opening of the second Pullman in Peru is part of the brand’s expansion plan in South America and which, on this occasion, offers the perfect combination of the avant-garde concept with the modern and disruptive touch of its architecture. The Pullman Lima Miraflores hotel brings with it a 100% sustainable infrastructure, thanks to the implementation of a green roof and the use of thermally efficient materials,”explains Milagros Calderón, General Manager, Pullman Lima Miraflores.

Pullman Lima Miraflores has 237 rooms and suites, executive floors with six meeting rooms and two restaurants. In addition, it has areas for various leisure activities such as a gym and pool area. In addition, the hotel has a spectacular rooftop overlooking the sea with a single entrance so that guests can directly access this area and enjoy business and relaxation in one place.

As a fully sustainable hotel, the infrastructure of the Pullman Lima Miraflores includes the installation of energy-efficient and energy-saving lamps that has been contemplated and verified by the climatic studies carried out, in addition to the thermal materials that are used. The hotel has LOW E glass, a system that filters the entry of ultraviolet rays reducing heat, so the air conditioning consumption is much lower.

Likewise, a “green roof” has been implemented in the hotel, that is, the use of plants in self-watering vegetation and low water consumption that help cool the building. All high-consumption equipment is powered by natural gas and the entry of natural light is found in all environments.

“We are very excited because we love the vibrant and energetic new personality that Pullman possesses. We have high expectations and we are eager to break schemes, we will go beyond the formal to conquer connected travelers who are looking for hotels that offer experiences that go beyond, ”added Philippe Trapp COO of Accor Luxe & lifestyle.
