Virgin Galactic, owned by the famous British billionaire Richard Branson, is starting to sell tickets for spaceflights with prices starting at $450,000.

The company received a license from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in June to fly customers to space.

On July 11, Virgin Galactic successfully completed its first fully crewed spaceflight with Branson himself joining.

Virgin Galactic will offer three different options to passengers who want to go to space. Single seat, multiple friend/couple/family seats, or all seats in the vehicle. The cheapest ticket price will be $450,000 for a single seat.
