Operated by TAV Airports, Milas-Bodrum Airport strengthens its commitment to safeguard the wellbeing of travelers and airport staff through the ACI Airport Health Accreditation program.
TAV Milas-Bodrum Operations Coordinator İclal Kayaoğlu said “Despite being one of the worst affected sectors by the COVID-19 pandemic due to border closures, aviation is also one of the fastest adapting to the challenges brought by the pandemic. Since the introduction of travel restrictions and lockdowns, we have taken all the precautions set out by the authorities to protect the wellbeing of our employees and passengers. We have complied with the certification programme established by the Turkish Civil Aviation Authority and committed to the EASA Covid-19 Protocol and now, we are certified through the ACI Airport Health Accreditation programme. We believe that the passenger traffic will quickly recover once the effect of the pandemic vane”.
A total of 11 airports in TAV’s portfolio will be accredited in the ACI Airport Health Accreditation programme. Thus far, Ankara Esenboga, Izmir Adnan Menderes, Gazipaşa-Alanya, Monastir, Enfidha, Skopje, Zagreb and Medinah airports are accredited.
