Serbia’s national airline Air Serbia will increase the number of Belgrade-Istanbul flights to seven per week, starting Saturday, September 19.
Flights, which take an hour and forty minutes, will be carried out by Airbus A319 aircraft. Air Serbia thus plans to reserve 2,016 seats per week for Istanbul.
In a recent press statement General Manager Commercial and Strategy at Air Serbia Jiri Marek said:
“Adding two weekly flight to Istanbul is a clear indicator of the increasing demand by our passengers for flights to the city on the Bosphorus, as well as the good connections that Air Serbia offers via Belgrade to Vienna, Berlin, Zurich, Paris, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Ljubljana, Podgorica, Prague, Tivat, Zagreb, Stuttgart and other European cities,”
Air Serbia resumed its Istanbul flights on 11 December 2019, after a 2.5-year hiatus. The airline has strengthened its commercial cooperation by signing a codeshare agreement with Turkish Airlines last month .
