Aeroflot has been named the strongest brand in Russia and the strongest airline brand globally by Brand Finance, the world’s leading independent brand valuation consultancy.
Brand Finance noted that Aeroflot is one of the few companies globally to strengthen its position despite the pandemic. Analysts see this as a sign of exceptionally strong reputation and popularity among customers.
Aeroflot scored a very strong 92.1 out of a possible 100 on Brand Finance’s Brand Strength Index (BSI). This is equivalent to the highest ААА+ rating.
“Aeroflot is perceived globally as a symbol and the face of Russia,” Aeroflot CEO Vitaly Saveliev said. “This achievement once again illustrates that leading industry experts and passengers alike know Aeroflot, trust us and believe that the airline can overcome any challenges, recover from crises and achieve new goals.”
“At the beginning of the year Aeroflot was on track to achieve its Strategy 2023 goals”, Brand Finance CEO David Haigh said. “There is no doubt that Aeroflot will successfully use its long-established brand and strong reputation to maintain its market share and overcome the challenges posed by COVID-19″.
